Bailynn will be going under the knife twice in April. Sounds like loads of fun right!? NOPE.
Her first procedure is April 12th to do a Distal Femoral Osteotomy, hip steroid injection & hamstring release surgery. (this surgery will put her in the hospital overnight)
Her second procedure is April 19th to replace her VNS under the left breast muscle. (this is outpatient – thank the LORD!)
I can’t believe that these 2 surgeries are so close together, but both surgeons have to do them before she turns 18 in May and they both wanted to wait till after Flu Season.
Needless to say, April is going to be a busy month.
