Surgery

We got up super early yesterday and made the drive to Indy. I seemed like the shortest trip up and back ever – especially having surgery. Surgery was short and went well. Three of Bailynn’s tendons on the top of her foot were released and a HUGE pink cast put on her leg and foot. It goes clear up to her knee! She will be in this cast for around 4 weeks and hopefully once this is all over Bailynn will be able to wear shoes without so many tears. She’s been a little fussy, but appetite hasn’t changed and the pain meds are keeping her comfortable. Hopefully that will remain the case. This giant cast will eventually be an issue with Bailynn and she is going to be very angry. I hope these next 4 weeks go by without much strife.
