It’s Monday and we are now at 18 days in the bed. Her back does look better. The bit of flesh that seemed to be hanging out of the gapping hole in her back has went back inside. The skin looks like it could seal back closed, if it would stop leaking and now bleeding. Bailynn is struggling with simply LEAVING IT ALONE!! It obviously itches due to the healing process, but Baiynn has no restraint on her vicious scratching. I put some cream on her neck to try and help a newly formed rash, but there is little I have been told I can do to the actual opening. I will embed new photos below. Her back is still very swollen around the upper hardware. You can really see this when going back to old photos of before it started to swell. I will give the before before and the photo as of yesterday for those who want to see –
to freak out with me – see. Keeping it together here as best we can.
Again, She is fine (well for trapped). She is singing, blowing spit everywhere (this is the hardest part of trying to keep her back dry and clean). She is eating and looks more filled out than she has in years. She is still binge watching Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime and going through bedding like crazy! We started her on her new round of antibiotics and a good dose of probiotic to keep her colon from being dumb. We now have about 2 more weeks of waiting and seeing. The swelling needs to reside.
On a completely different note. I love to draw. Not everyone knows that, but for most who follow me on FB, Instagram, or twitter you most likely get a good glimpse of my addiction. I even have a tab on here with a fraction of my drawings and designs. I really do it for myself. It is a stress relief, a moment to express myself and sink into something fantastical. I have sold a few drawings, created a few custom pieces, illustrated my book, and been asked numerous times why I don’t try to sell them more. So, I’ve had an unused Etsy Shop that I set up years ago. It has sat empty….vacant. I have decided it is time. I will sell, or try to, my drawings online as PDF Printable files. Why not!? Others do it. So, if you want to look or want me to create you something, let me know! I love this and it is something I can do at home with the girls. Everything I make will go to fund Bailynn’s ongoing medical expenses. I even put some of the girls drawings in my shop, I will put more, and I have told them what ever they make will go to their College Savings. Again, why not us, why not me! Go check it out! I’m trying to create a variety of printable sizes.
I’m going to add some of my drawings below (sorry for my blatant advertising of myself lol). I will give everyone an update again when I get one. Still waiting for our JailBreak day!!!
